We Have our Travel Dates!
Well hallelujah! We finally received our appointment with the consulate in China and now have our travel dates! We are leaving for China on Thursday, December 9th out of Chicago (at 1 a.m. - yikes)! After a couple stops in South Korea & Beijing, we will arrive in Nanchang, which is in Maya's province, at 2:05 p.m. on December 10th! We will be bringing Maya home on Xmas Eve (which is Madeline's Birthday - Happy 14th Birthday Madeline)! Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts, prayers and well wishes!

For Our Friends and Family
Hi Everyone,
We decided to make a blog to share our adoption moments. Recently, we just got Maya's pre-visa application approved that was our last big hurdle. So pretty shortly we should be getting our travel dates to China! Currently Maya is almost 27 months old. She is in Jiangxi province, China. She is 22 pounds and 31.5 inches. Zhou Lu (Maya) has a repaired bilateral complete cleft lip, but still has a cleft palate. A few weeks ago we got updated pictures of Maya (so cute!) We are so excited to meet her and bring her home!
